Explorer's Log:

Day Six.  Still in isolation.  The halls of the Mansion echo, empty and dusty.  Dust bunnies gather on the handsome carpets.  G5 released a patch today, but it made no difference.  Patches these days aren't a patch on what they used to be.  I have sewn the patch onto my patchwork quilt.

I won my Aviator's Balloon yesterday!  Tried sending it to G5 with a message summoning help, but it only drifted sideways and landed back on the table.  Will use it for a paperweight instead.

No success taming the rats.  Have switched to reptiles.  The tortoise from Buddha’s Square and the turtle from Treasure Island both learned “Sit”, “Stay”, and “Play Dead” very quickly.  The frog from the Night Garden hasn’t learned to Play Dead, but he has croaked.  Several times.  Ain't no flies on him.

I decided to leave the alligator in the Excavations, tried working with the lizard from the Crashed Plane, but the little rotter scurried off and is hiding under the bed.  Well, it’s easier to find him there than in the Plane.

I think the snake from the Night Garden ate the mouse from the Tavern.  Poor mousie.  On the bright side, it’s made the snake very easy to find, since it just lies there looking smug and well-fed.

Two more cats have joined our little family, from the Observation Deck and the Forest House.  Had to fetch the milk jug from the Mill to make sure they all had enough.
