With the January update, all the past regular quest collection items (CIs) from August to November 2023 were allocated to the pictures.
At the moment Family Hotel only has 2 added CIs, and this picture gives us Mermaid's Crowns for +100% rewards for visiting friends for 12 hours. I've got this picture up to Grand Magister and intend to play it as much as I can to collect Mermaid Crowns.
The new picture will give us the opportunity to get the Christmas Joy Amulet, which increases the effect of each food item by +50% for 24 hours. This means that when activated and Dinners are used, each Dinner will add +15 to your baseline energy, but you must get the new picture 'Irish Pub" up to Grand Magister to be able to get them.
The picture that follows Irish Pub will give us the opportunity to get Family Fortresses for +100% rewards for visiting friends for 24 hours.
When I visited using a Mermaid's Crown for 12 hours, I visited 202 friends, as per my reputation number in less than 6 hours. Power permitting I could have gone on and visited more of my friends but would have only got 100 experience points and coins per item I charged (doubled because of the activated visiting amulet) and the occasional CI. So those 6 hours I had left were wasted.
However, with a 24 hour visiting amulet, I activate it late, say 1130 hours, visit 202 friends. Then I have until 1130 hours the next day to visit the rest of my friends, using a Gold Weight if need be. So in my opinion, I prefer the 24 hour visiting amulet and will only use the Mermaid's Crowns when I either don't have time to visit for 2 days or don't feel in the mood to do so.
So going back to the past regular quests being allocated to all the pictures, if I'm right, another update won't take place until the end of April 2024. The next 4 series of past regular quests will be December 2023 to March 2024 and these will be allocated in May 2024, if the pattern is the same. So we have until the end of April to get the March 2024 picture to Grand Magister before any crap gets added to that picture.
